The 2015 Syrah Lolita Ranch is very deep garnet-purple in color with a profound nose of baked blackberries, crème de cassis and mocha with hints of tilled black soil, licorice, black pepper and dried Provence herbs. The full-on, full-bodied palate is simply packed with black fruit preserves, spice box and earthy notions with a firm frame of rounded tannins and background freshness, finishing very long and very spicy. 55 cases were made.

Martinellis 2015 Syrah Lolita Ranch is powerful, fleshy and super attractive. Black cherry, plum, new leather, licorice and spice all flesh out in this racy, succulent Syrah. Even with all of its intensity, the 2015 maintains striking freshness and nuance. Hints of chocolate, plum, spice and cloves add to the wine's dark, inviting personality. The Lolita's Ranch is a wonderfully approachable Syrah with soft contours and tons of near to medium-term appeal.
