Tasting notes
The 2021 Petite Syrah Turley Estate is dense and super-expressive in the glass. Blue/purplish fruit, lavender, spice, menthol and espresso are some of the many notes that meld together in a sumptuous Petite that delivers the goods, and then some. Like all the Petites in 2021, the Estate impresses with its plush, silky tannins. Bright acids and lifted floral notes enliven the finish. Superb.

Opaque ruby-black in the glass, the 2021 Petite Syrah Turley Estate takes some time to unfurl its deep cassis aromas to reveal mint, game meat and lavender touches. The full-bodied palate offers generous floral fruit, surprisingly juicy acidity, smooth tannins and a long, mineral-driven finish. Offer it 3-5 years in the cellar.
