The 2018 Chardonnay Frei Road Vineyard is compelling, unique and hard to put down! It offers gorgeous aromas of lime sherbet, white peaches, crushed almonds and saline, and the palate is über satiny in texture. It blossoms from tangy citrus to ripe, honey-tinged fruits in the mouth and has a very long, uplifted finish.

The 2018 Chardonnay Frei Road Vineyard is more Burgundian, with lots of flinty, matchstick-like minerality as well as honeysuckle, flower oil, white peach, toasted almonds, and spice. It's another medium to full-bodied, riveting Chardonnay from this estate that has everything you could want from this variety. It will continue drinking spectacularly well for another 8-10 years, if not longer.
The 2018 Chardonnay Frei Road Vineyard is rich, heady and explosive, as it so often is. Soaring floral and graphite-tinged aromatics make a strong first impression. The Frei Road offers a compelling mix of citrus, orchard fruit and floral notes. There is just a hint of reduction that adds freshness, but without dominating the wine's balance.
