Tasting notes
Medium ruby with a touch of garnet. Stewed sweet tomatoes, ripe red cherries and supple leather. The tannins are soft and round and there's just enough acid left to balance out the sweet fruit. I wouldn't wait any longer to drink it. (SCJ)

NHB. Bright crimson. Very ripe and intense on the nose. But just a little bit simple; dominated by fruit pure and simple – enough? Slightly sweet and syrupy on the finish. Unintegrated for the moment. (JR)
(this bottling represents about 90% of this property's total production; includes 3% each merlot and cabernet franc): Good full medium red. Classic aromas of cassis, licorice and graphite minerality, with a hint of violet. Plush, sweet and nicely concentrated, with briary mountain berry and licorice flavors given grip by a firm tannic spine. Sweet but a bit youthfully medicinal today, and in need of a few years of bottle aging.
