Tasting notes
Pale lemon gold in color, the 2007 Chardonnay Lolita Ranch possesses a very evocative nose of warm peaches, apple pie and dried pineapple with touches of candied ginger, jasmine and beeswax. Rich, full-bodied and packed with preserved stone fruits and savory layers, it has a fabulous uplifting backbone and great length. Aging very gracefully!

Bright gold. Deep, smoky aromas of pear, orange pith and spicecake lifted by a mineral topnote. Fat, dense and rich, with powerful orchard fruit and spice flavors and a sneaky mineral quality coming up with air. This opulent, palate-staining wine benefits greatly from its spine of minerality, which adds focus and cut to an impressively long, sweet, spicy finish.
About the producer

Martinelli is a Sonoma benchmark for vineyard-designate bottlings—wines built to highlight how strongly a single site can shape Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Syrah, and Zinfandel. Across the range, the focus stays consistent: small-production bottlings that feel distinctly tied to where they’re grown.
