Tasting notes
The 2014 Chardonnay Lolita Ranch has complex savory bread and nut notes over a core of warm apricots, dried pineapples and musk melon with a waft of honeysuckle. Full-bodied, rich and seductively opulent in the mouth, it has loads of savory and spicy layers complimenting the tropical fruits, finishing with great persistence.

The Martinelli 2014 Chardonnay Lolita Ranch is gorgeous, with striking detail and nuance, especially for a wine of its size. Ample and inviting, the 2014 possesses tons of personality. Graphite, slate, lemon confit and wild flowers are all beautifully delineated in the glass.
About the producer

Martinelli is a Sonoma benchmark for vineyard-designate bottlings—wines built to highlight how strongly a single site can shape Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Syrah, and Zinfandel. Across the range, the focus stays consistent: small-production bottlings that feel distinctly tied to where they’re grown.
