2002 Merry Edwards Pinot Noir Klopp Ranch

Medium red-ruby color. Black raspberry, smoked meat, earth and gunpowder on the nose. Sweet in the mouth but less fruity than the Meredith Estate bottling, with notes of meat and gunpowder. A bit tougher on the end, finishing with slightly drying, dusty tannins and a hint of leather.
