Tasting notes
(13.1% alcohol): Healthy bright medium red. Cool, herbal, slightly weedy nose hints at cherry. Juicy, fine-grained and rather suave in texture, conveying a medicinal cast but also subtle mid-palate sweetness to its black cherry, dark plum and spice flavors. Finishes with nicely supported broad tannins and a slightly intrusive greenness, but the tannins here are ripe and nicely integrated.

Dark ruby/purple-colored, with a restrained but elegant nose of spicy new oak and red fruits, this finesse-styled Cabernet Sauvignon (a blend of 92% Cabernet Sauvignon and 8% Merlot that was bottled after 21 months in French oak casks) is medium-bodied and moderately tannic. It also possesses supple fruit in the mid-palate, and an attractive, stylish finish. Not a blockbuster, it is a wine to drink over the next 7-8 years. Tel. (707) 944-1683
