Score 92/100 · Drink 2005-2009, Robert Parker, Dec 2005

The 2003 Chardonnay Walker Station reveals white currant, peach, and tangerine characteristics in its medium to full-bodied, layered personality. With well-integrated wood as well as a creamy, vanilla, egg custard sort of texture, this subtle but powerful beauty should be consumed over the next 3-4 years. Tel. Subtle, restrained aromas of minerals, flowers and spices. Fat, sweet and full, with an almost honeyed opulence. Nicely lifted by a floral component. Finishes with noteworthy persistence. This vineyard in Green Valley is now being replanted, but the 2003 is all from older vines.
