Tasting notes
Silky, understated and beautifully perfumed, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Kaliholmanok shows all the pedigree that is so common in Spring Mountain Cabernets. In a vintage in which so many wines are overdone, the Kaliholmanok speaks to grace above all else. Best of all, this open-knit, alluring Cabernet will be a pure pleasure to drink upon release.

The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Kaliholmanok is a mountain Cabernet from Spring Mountain. It has gorgeous blue fruits, exotic flowers, menthol and crushed rock aromatics, medium to full-bodied richness, a fresh, focused, vibrant mouthfeel, and building tannin, and a structured, edgy feel. It’s a pure, impeccably balanced 2015 that will benefit from 2-3 years of bottle age and keep for 15-20 years.
Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Kaliholmanok Kicu Me Vineyard has an earthy/meaty/savory nose with baked plums and mulberries notes plus spice suggestions. Medium to full-bodied, it has chewy tannins with great concentration and expression, finishing long and balanced.
