Tasting notes
The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Kaliholmanok is another positively gorgeous wine in this range. Bright floral and savory notes lead into a core of bright red and purplish berry fruit in this striking Spring Mountain Cabernet. I would give the 2017 a few years to soften, but it's super impressive even in the early going. What a wine!

Produced from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, coming from a single vineyard in the Spring Mountain AVA, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Kaliholmanok Kicu Me Vineyard is deep garnet-purple in color. The nose exhibits subdued notes of plum pudding, blackcurrant pastilles and baked blueberries with touches of dried herbs, underbrush and new leather. Medium to full-bodied, the palate has a solid, muscular core and firm, ripe tannins, finishing with loads of earthy layers. 172 cases were made.
