Score 17.5/20 · Drink 2015-2025, Jancis Robinson MW, Feb 2015
Full of energetic tension and currently taut flavours, this wine will evolve and open with age. There is a nice sense of complexity and longevity here. Notes of rose potpourri with a touch of ginger, this wine offers long, persistent flavour, and slightly angular tannin. Allow to breathe, or hold in cellar, this wine wants time to open. (ECB)

The 2013 Pinot Noir Keefer Ranch is one of the juicier wines in the range, yet it retains the mid-weight style of the year at Failla. Rose petals, mint, hard candy, cinnamon and sweet red berries add nunace in a supple Pinot that presents a laid-back expression of Russian River exuberance.
