Good deep saturated red. Pure, vibrant aromas of raspberry and spices. Sweet and fat but also juicy and penetrating, with spicy flavors of raspberry and strawberry. Finishes spicy and firm, with very good sneaky length. Perhaps the best pinot noir to date from owner/winemaker Ehren Jordan.

The 2002 Pinot Noir Keefer Ranch is impressive. Possessing aromas of pomegranate, spice, loamy earth, and ripe black cherries as well as raspberries, it is a long, balanced 2002 to enjoy over the next 5-6 years. Jordan appears to have a sure hand in extracting finesse and complexity from the world’s most fickle grape. Tel. (707) 942-4699; Fax (707) 942-5142
