(14.5% alcohol): Good full ruby. Sexy nose offers vibrant black fruits, bitter chocolate and violet, complicated by a saline minerality. Suave and energetic on the palate, with a pliant texture to the black fruit and bitter chocolate flavors. Not the last word in concentration but quite stylish. Finishes with smooth tannins and very good persistent minerality. In comparison with this wine, the 2007 version was a bit over the top.

The flagship offering from a 4-acre parcel, the 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa is a 650-cases, 100% Cabernet Sauvignon offering an excellent opaque ruby/purple color as well as abundant aromas of camphor, creme de cassis, subtle smoke and graphite characteristics.
