Tasting notes
Coming from the Anderson Valley in the northern part of California, the 2019 Pinot Noir Bearwallow Vineyard boasts a deeper ruby, almost opaque color to go with classic, more savory black cherry and darker currant fruits, supported by loamy earth and roasted herb-like aromas and flavors. Big, rich, and nicely concentrated, it has building tannins as well as a great finish. This is a terrific example of the quality that’s been coming out of this vineyard for several years now, and it’s going to keep for a solid decade.

The 2019 Pinot Noir Bearwallow Vineyard offers terrific brightness to play off a core of rich Anderson Valley fruit. Kirsch, rose petal and cinnamon give the 2019 lovely inner perfume and a feeling of exoticism that is impossible to miss. Somewhat deceptive in its mid-weight structure, the 2019 has a lot going on. The Bearwallow is typically a more forthcoming wine, but the 2019 definitely needs a few years to unwind.
