Tasting notes
Gemstone's 2013 Red Wine is supple, forward and juicy. Sweet red cherry, rose petal, mint and sweet spices open up in the glass. The fruit is a bit dried out, and there is only limited depth throughout.

Gemstone's 2013 Estate Red Wine is beautifully expressive in the glass, with lovely underlying brilliance and terrific overall balance. Dark red stone fruits, iron, smoke and tobacco blossom as this expressive, classy wine shows off its winning personality. This is a fairly approachable 2013, and should drink well with minimal cellaring.
Made from the four Bordeaux varietals, with slightly more concentration than the 2012, the 2013 Estate Red Wine exhibits fabulous notes of graphite, blackberries and blueberries. Layered and rich with a finish that lasts nearly 60 seconds, this profound red wine is pure, rich and complex. Drink it over the next 15-20 years.
