Tasting notes
(made from young vines from several of Turley's vineyard sources) Medium red-ruby. Dark berries lifted by black pepper on the nose. Juicy, pliant and flavorful, with berry and spice flavors. Finishes with a slightly roasted, chocolatey character.

One of the finest buys in this portfolio is the 2004 Zinfandel Juvenile, an 800- to 1,000-case blend made from younger vines. It offers plenty of jammy black cherry and briery fruit, low acidity, a plump, heady mouthfeel, good texture, and a seductive, lush finish with abundant alcohol as well as glycerin. Drink it over the next 3-4 years. (Release date 4/06) Tel. (707) 963-0940; Fax (707) 963-8683
