Even better is the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Herold White Label, mostly Oakville fruit with a touch of Coombsville. Like his other Cabernet Sauvignons it is aged 18-20 months in 100% new oak. This is a deeper, more powerful style of Cabernet Sauvignon exhibiting notes of charcoal, burning embers, blackberry, cassis, licorice and a meaty character. Full-bodied, savory and layered, the hallmark of the 2014 vintage – delicious, early drinkability – is well presented. This should be consumed over the next 10-15+ years.

Dark plum, black cherry and mocha are some of the many notes that flesh out in this richly-textured, sumptuous Cabernet Sauvignon from Mark Herold. Approximately 80% of the fruit is from Oakville Ranch, while 20% of the fruit is from Coombsville.
