Palish red color. Aromas of strawberry, smoke and nutty oak. Supple and sweet, with an attractive silkiness to its strawberry and spice flavors. Nicely concentrated, structured wine, probably best enjoyed in the next three or four years.

The 2003 Pinot Noir Goldridge Vineyard (1,300 cases) exhibits plenty of cherry, plum, spice box, and herb aromas and flavors in addition to crisp acidity, medium body, forward fruit, and a plump, spicy finish. It should last for 4-5 years. Kudos to Tom Dehlinger, a guy who seems to be content to stay under the radar and simply make an assortment of very fine as well as realistically priced wines! Tel. (from Dehlinger's lower-elevation vineyards, harvested late) Medium dullish red. Aromas of raspberry, loam, underbrush and oak char. Sweet and supple but could use more verve despite possessing sound underlying acidity. Finishes with slightly edgy, drying tannins.
