Good bright cherry-red. Sappy red berries and caramel oak on the nose. Juicy, sweet red berry flavors complicated by toast. Fatter than the Windsor Gardens wine, but with noteworthy purity of fruit. Here, too, the tannins are on the light side, but the wine's oak element slightly dries its fruit on the back. Finishes with a suggestion of leather.
