The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Cult is a blend of their two estate properties located on Silverado Trail, one west of Soda Canyon and the other being Stag’s Ridge Vineyard, which sits at 1,400 feet in elevation. It is composed of 97% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Cabernet Franc, aged for 18 months in 100% new French oak. Deep garnet-purple in color, it bursts from the glass with opulent baked plums, raisin cake and crème de cassis notes, followed by suggestions of cigar box, dusty soil and Chinese five spice. The full-bodied palate offers mouth-coating dried berries and exotic spice flavors, with a chewy texture and refreshing lift on the finish.
