Tasting notes
The 2021 EE Red Wine is a 55-45 blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Its stunning nose offers up ample amounts of ripe cherries but also some leafy notes, including hints of sage and tobacco. Full-bodied and expansive on the palate, it finishes silky, long and elegant. Sexy stuff.

The 2021 Red Blend EE is sure to be a crowd-pleaser. Rich, powerful and bombastic, the EE hits the palate with dense dark fruit, chocolate, new leather and licorice. There's real density and power here, but the 2021 also offers tons of energy to round things out.
Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2021 EE Red comes prancing out of the glass with gregarious scents of black cherry compote, blueberry pie, and blackcurrant jelly with suggestions of dried mint, dusty soil, and underbrush. The full-bodied palate is bursting with black fruit preserves layers and earthy accents, supported by firm, grainy tannins and beautiful tension, finishing long and fragrant.
The 2021 EE Red Wine is ripe and powerful, with smoky red and black fruits as well as lots of background oak, graphite, espresso, and dark chocolate-like aromas and flavors that develop beautifully with time in the glass. Deep, rich, full-bodied, and concentrated on the palate, it has plenty of background oak, the building tannins of the vintage, and a great finish. A gorgeous wine, it will benefit from 3-4 years in the cellar and evolve for 25-30 years in cold cellars. The blend is 55% Cabernet Sauvignon and 45% Cabernet Franc brought up in new barrels.
