Tasting notes
Matured for 16 months in 62% new French oak, the 2022 Pinot Noir Lewis MacGregor Estate Vineyard unfurls dramatically as it airs in the glass. Raspberry, cranberry and wild cherry give way to nuances of black tea, tobacco and dried flowers. The palate offers stunningly concentrated flavors despite its silky tannins and modest weight. Its generosity is balanced by vibrant acidity, and it has a powerful yet elegant finish. 620 cases were made.

About the producer
Williams Selyem is an iconic Russian River Valley winery best known for its Pinot Noir. Producing restrained yet classically Californian expressions of the heartbreak grape (as well as a host of other wines), the property has gone from pioneer to one of the region’s standard-bearers.
