Score 91/100 · Drink 2019-2025, Erin Brooks, Wine Advocate, Dec 2019
The 2017 Lorenzo's Heritage comes from dry-farmed vines planted between 1900 and 1950. Medium ruby-purple, it opens with aromas of dried leaves and underbrush with wild blackberries, peach peel, savory cranberry and potpourri. Medium-bodied, it’s dense in the mouth, with a chewy frame and great freshness, finishing savory.

Bedrock's 2017 Heritage Wine Lorenzo, from Teldeschi Ranch, is a potent, massively structured wine that will need quite a bit of time to come into its own. Dark cherry, leather, smoke, licorice, spice and menthol give the Lorenzo much of its distinctive brooding personality.
