Tasting notes
This tastes so pure and polished, concentrated but refined. Goes deep in pretty red cherries, black cherries, blackcurrants, spearmint and cocoa. Made from a blend of Pommard, Swan and Mt. Eden clones. Medium-bodied, focused and well balanced by acidity and moderate tannins. Drink or hold.

An engaging version, with a sleek and juicy structure that provides focusing energy to the range of mulberry, raspberry and black cherry compote flavors at the core. Sparkles of anise and rooibos tea emerge steadily through the mouthwatering finish, where a late hint of chaparral checks in. For the cellar. Best from 2025 through 2037. 792 cases made.
About the producer
Williams Selyem is an iconic Russian River Valley winery best known for its Pinot Noir. Producing restrained yet classically Californian expressions of the heartbreak grape (as well as a host of other wines), the property has gone from pioneer to one of the region’s standard-bearers.
