Bright, crunchy red fruit effuses ripeness in this lushly layered wine. Black tea, forest and cedar pierce through, making for a complementary experience that intrigues with complexity. — Virginie Boone

William's Selyem's 2016 Pinot Noir Foss Vineyard screams with Russian River character. Inky dark red and purplish berry fruit, spice, new leather, licorice and menthol are front and center. Bold and voluptuous, with no hard edges, the Foss Vineyard is another terrific choice for drinking now and over the next decade or so.
About the producer
Williams Selyem is an iconic Russian River Valley winery best known for its Pinot Noir. Producing restrained yet classically Californian expressions of the heartbreak grape (as well as a host of other wines), the property has gone from pioneer to one of the region’s standard-bearers.
