Score 93/100 · Drink 2022-2035, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Apr 2020
The 2017 Pinot Noir Altamont is a wine of real breadth. Dark cherry, plum, lavender, spice and hard candy all flesh out in the glass. Rich, plush and enveloping, the Altamont captures all of the natural intensity of the year. A touch of stems adds character, but is not especially evident.

The 2017 Pinot Noir Altamont is another super-intriguing wine from Dehlinger. Ample and rich in the glass, with tremendous textural resonance, the 2017 has a lot to offer. As always, the Altamont is bigger and richer than the Goldridge, but, it, too offers terrific balance in 2017.
