Tasting notes
The 2015 Venus is cut from the same cloth yet doesn’t have the texture or density of the 2014. White currants, white peach, and citrus notes as well as a touch of salty minerality all emerge from this medium-bodied, elegant, streamlined white that’s going to continue drinking nicely for another 7-8 years (probably longer).

The 2015 Venus, Donelan's Roussane/Viognier blend is soft, forward and delicate. Apricot pit, peach, white flowers and mint flesh out nicely. The 2015 is understated and polished to the core, something that isn't often the case with white Rhône blends.
A Roussanne containing just 2.5% Viognier, the 2015 Venus has a relatively subdued nose with delicate white peach, honeysuckle, white pepper and allspice notes plus a touch of yeastiness. Medium to full-bodied with a crisp acid line lifting the rich, oily fruit, it finishes long and spicy. 170 cases were made.
