Medium ruby-purple colored, the 2015 Pinot Noir Perli Vineyard reveals compelling cranberry, pomegranate and rhubarb pie notes with nuances of wild thyme, forest floor, ceps and camphor. Medium to full-bodied, it is built like a brick house with a solid foundation of firm, fine-grained tannins and wonderful freshness, finishing long and earthy. 260 cases were made.
The 2015 Pinot Noir Perli Vineyard is one of the richer, lusher wines readers will find from this site on the Mendocino Ridge. Sweet red cherry, tobacco, spice and cedar all flesh out in the glass, but it is the wine's textural softness and silkiness that stand out most. This is a very good example of Perli.
