From the Heintz Vineyard in the Sonoma Coast, the 2016 Chardonnay Wingtine saw a slightly shorter élevage than normal, spending just 11 months in barrel versus the normal 16 months once Eric felt that it was ready and liked how it was tasting. Lemon peel, mint, crushed rocks, and plenty of salty minerality give way to a medium to full-bodied 2016 that has bright, juicy acidity, a crisp, elegant texture, and terrific purity of fruit.

Apricot jam, orange blossom, exotic flowers and almonds marry nicely with a textured, oily feel in Radio Coteau's 2016 Chardonnay Wingtine. Next to the Savoy, the Wingtine is decidedly creamy and ample in feel.
