Score 96/100 · Drink 2022-2032, Erin Brooks, Wine Advocate, Jul 2022
The 2020 Pinot Noir Big Hill has a medium ruby-purple color and pure, layered scents of pomegranate, cranberry, conifer, bergamot, aniseed and iron. The medium-bodied palate is powerful and spicy, with granular tannins, bright bursts of refreshing acidity and a very long, flavor-packed finish.

Score 89/100 · Drink 2022-2027, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Jan 2022
The 2020 Pinot Noir Big Hill is a dark, brooding wine. Black cherry, leather, game, tobacco, incense and licorice, along with firm, imposing tannins, all give the wine's its decidedly backward, virile personality. I am not sure how much time will help here. The Big Hill is at once backward but also tannic and light in body, reflecting what was a very unique set of conditions in 2020.
