2015 Williams Selyem Pinot Noir Weir Vineyard

Tasting notes
The 2015 Pinot Nair Weir Vineyard, from a site in the Yorkville Highlands, is pretty and lifted, but it is also light to the point of lacking mid-palate depth and fruit. Given its mid-weight structure and somewhat fleeting personality, I would prefer to drink the Weir sooner rather than later.

Strong cinnamon and clove aromas lead to bold, ripe black-cherry and cassis flavors in this full-bodied, well-structured and ultimately nuanced wine. It has lots of grip on the palate from firm tannins and bright acidity, while the spicy oak flavors last all the way to the finish. — Jim Gordon
