Score 90/100 · Drink 2017-2023, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Jul 2016

The 2013 Pinot Noir Weir Vineyard, from a site in the Yorkville Highlands, is vibrant, persistent and very nicely balanced. Sweet tobacco, earthiness, cherry, plum and crushed leaves are some of the signatures. The Weir is a bit slender in shape, but it makes up for that with its persistent finish.
