From a site on the Sonoma Coast, the 2018 Pinot Noir Terra De Promissio Vineyard sports a ruby/plum hue to go with complex notes of spiced dark fruits, brambly herbs, sassafras, and forest floor. Medium-bodied and elegant on the palate, it drops off slightly on the finish, yet I love its earthy complexity and charming, rounded texture. Drink bottles over the coming 4-6 years.

The 2018 Pinot Noir Terra de Promissio Vineyard has a medium ruby-purple color and soft scents of rose petals, strawberries and rhubarb with an undercurrent of dusty earth, charcuterie and citrus peel. Medium-bodied, it offers juicy, perfumed red berry fruit with a very finely grained frame, addicting freshness and a long, spicy finish. Lovely! 766 cases produced.
The 2018 Pinot Noir Terra De Promissio is super-expressive and inviting. The flavors are dark, juicy and wonderfully seductive. Ripe plum, black cherry, mint, spice and cola are pushed forward in this succulent, open-knit Russian River Pinot. The 2018 is so well-balanced and harmonious. Drink it over the next decade or so.
