Dried cherries, wild flowers and spices are some of the notes that inform 2012 Pinot Noir Estate Block 8, which is mostly Pommard clone with a dollop of Wädenswil. The Block 8 is one of the more vertical wines in this range. As such, it offers tremendous structure and intensity, but the inherent richness of the Pommard clones works to balance out some of those elements.
