The 2015 Cabernet Franc 29 Estate is a huge, powerful wine. In this vintage, many of the typical varietal Cabernet Franc notes have been baked out. Taken on its own terms, though, the Franc is quite attractive. Black cherry, spice, leather and torrefaction add to the wine's concentrated, dense personality. This is an especially rich expression of Franc built on pure power.

Very deep purple-black colored, the 2015 Cabernet Franc 29 Estate gives up expressive red and black currant preserves with hints of pencil shavings, crushed stones, chargrill and bay leaves plus a waft of roses. Medium to full-bodied, it has gorgeous freshness in the mouth with a chewy frame of tannins and plenty of expressive black and red fruit flavors, finishing long and perfumed. 275 cases were made.
