Tasting notes
The 2020 Chardonnay Bootlegger's Hill Vineyard takes on more floral and rounder aromas of honeysuckle, apricot, and fresh herbs. Full-bodied, with a softer, fuller texture, it offers notes of almond, quince, preserved lemon, and a touch of toasty oak spice on the finish. This takes on a bit more voluptuousness and is fantastic for the style.

The 2020 Chardonnay Bootlegger's Hill was harvested August 27-30 and was matured in 45% new French oak for 15 months. It has slightly closed aromas of white peach, wafts of panna cotta and graham cracker. The palate is lighter than expected with slightly crunchy/dilute flavors, and the textural finish has a touch of bitterness and streaks of baking spice.
