A solid chardonnay with cooked lemon, sliced apple puree and flint. Itâs full and layered, with gorgeous fruit and excellent depth. Solid and enticing. Creamy. Drink or hold.
The 2019 Chardonnay Bootlegger's Hill offers delicate aromas of peaches, lilac, crushed almonds and beeswax. Pretty herbal undertones emerge as it spends time in the glass. The medium-bodied palate has a silken texture, lush, toasty fruits, juicy bursts of acidity and a long, layered finish streaked with touches of flint. It has the ingredients for a long life in the cellar.
