Score 92/100 · Drink 2020-2030, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Jan 2018
Black cherry, plum, chocolate, licorice and exotic spice all run through the 2015 Dancing Hares. Voluptuous and racy, the 2015 is undeniably attractive, but it is also a wine of transition, as is quite obvious in tasting through the entire range.

The 2015 Dancing Hares Proprietary Red, a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, is very deep purple-black in color with a nose of spice cake, plum pudding, crème de cassis, cigar box, licorice and menthol with a waft of dried herbs. Medium to full-bodied, fresh and concentrated with firm, fine-grained tannins, it finishes fresh and long. 350 cases were made.
