A rich ruby hue, the 2019 Pinot Noir Oregon is aromatic of wild herbs, spices, ripe red cherry, and fresh earth. It lends wonderful high-toned purity on the palate, with cranberry cocktail and orange pith, fine tannins, and a soft mineral style. It is really refined and will offer a lot of pleasure now or over the next 6-8 years. From winemaker Michael Browne, also of CIRQ and co-founder of Kosta Browne, CHEV currently produces four wines, a Pinot and Chardonnay from the Russian River Valley, another Pinot Noir from the Sta. Rita Hills, and now a Pinot Noir from Oregon.
