Medium red. Deeper and muskier than the Central Coast bottling, showing dark berry and cherry aromas and a hint of licorice. Chewy dark fruit flavors pick up a hint of candied flowers with air and show good clarity and vivacity. Closes down in the glass and finishes on a powerful note of bitter cherry skin, with solid grip. Give this some bottle aging or time in a carafe.
