Tasting notes
Ruby. Dark fruits, blackberries, plums, fruit driven and fruit forward, detailed nose, not overly ripe, just precise fruit. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, elegant body and texture, nuanced, refreshing, ripe, nuanced and long. Very seductive and truly elegant for Napa.

A very minerally and subtle wine with blueberry, blackberry and lemon rind. Some saltiness. Full to medium body, balanced and refined. Delicious already but shows wonderful tension and finesse. Drink or hold.
About the producer

Cathy Corison is one of Napa’s leading lights – a matriarch of the region who crafts defiantly elegant Cabernet Sauvignon from her old vines on the benchland between Rutherford and St Helena. These refined, long-ageing wines are some of Napa’s most impressive.
