Score 78/100 · Jeb Dunnuck, Jan 2020

The most expensive wine in the lineup, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville offers subtle smoky, charcoal notes as well as notes of Bing cherries, currants, ash, and scorched earth. It has some fruit, but it’s largely dry and bitter on the palate.

The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville is the biggest and richest of these wines. Black cherry, chocolate, licorice, menthol and cedar all build in an extroverted Cabernet Sauvignon that has a ton to offer. This is another strong showing from Tamber Bey in 2017.
