Tasting notes
Medium garnet colored, the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Kayli Morgan Vineyard gives up notes of warm blackcurrants, black cherries, sassafras, earth, smoked meats and tilled soil with wafts of garrigue. Full-bodied, super concentrated and wonderfully powerful, it has a rock-solid frame and grainy texture, finishing very long and boldly spiced.

The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Ark Vineyard has a deep garnet color and nose of crème de cassis, blueberry compote and candied violets with hints of red roses, chocolate mint, stewed tea and yeast extract plus a hint of cumin. Full-bodied, rich and velvety, the palate is completely packed with spicy fruit, finishing with lingering earthy notes.
Aromas of black licorice, blackberry, dried herb and cedar are well-centered, on-point and directed, leading to taut tannins and snappy acidity. Ends a bit abruptly. Best from 2020 through 2030. 825 cases made.
