The 2020 Chardonnay McCrea Vineyard offers good brightness and energy in the soft, understated style of the year. There's just not much depth or complexity here, despite the fact that the wine's balance is impeccable relative to what was possible in 2020. Lemon peel, white flowers and crushed rocks lend brightness throughout.
