Score 90/100 · Drink 2021-2028, Neal Martin, Dec 2020
The 2017 Givry Clos Salomon 1er Cru, cropped at 22hL/ha because of frost, has a touch more vigour and intensity than the 2018, more red fruit here, Morello cherries and crushed strawberry mixed with crushed stone. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, good backbone and a vibrant, quite precise finish. This conveys a sense of class.

Score 90/100 · Drink 2018-2028, William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Jul 2019
Aromas of pomegranate, smoky berry fruit, raw cocoa and candied peel preface the 2017 Givry 1er Cru Clos Salomon, a medium to full-bodied, fleshy wine with juicy acids, powdery tannins and a spice-inflected finish. It's another attractive rendition of this historic Clos.
