Pale, bright yellow-green. Citrus and powdered stone aromas are lifted by spicy and minty high notes. Large-scaled and sweet but a bit youthfully imploded today, offering intense orchard and citrus fruit flavors accented by minerals and a touch of spicy oak. Finishes with outstanding palate-saturating length and sap. This remarkably chewy wine has it all, but I would not be at all surprised if it shut down after the bottling.

The 2014 Chablis Grand Cru Les Preuses has a much more intense and probably more complex bouquet than the Les Clos: orange zest, apricot, flint and even a touch of freshly picked strawberry streaming from the glass. The palate is vibrant, brimming over with energy, tensile and long with great precision on the finish. This is one of Piuze's best 2014s.
Pale yellow with a green tinge. Knockout nose hints at lemon, flint and powdered stone, complicated by saline and chalky nuances. At once savory and deep, showing a strong saline character to its flavors of minerals, flowers and subtle stone fruits. A wine of outstanding incipient complexity, solidity and length, with the chalky mineral finish stimulating the salivary glands. Piuze refers to this as "my club sandwich wine" for its layered quality. This was outstanding from barrel a year ago and every bit as impressive in its finished form.
