The 2004 Shiraz Eleventh Hour is a blend of fruit from a 60-year-old Greenock vineyard (60%) and a 90-year-old vineyard in Nuriootpa (40%). It was aged 18 months in used French oak. Its dense ruby/purple color is followed by aromas of peppery black currants, roasted meats, new saddle leather, and earth. This opulent, rich, full-throttle wine exhibits a smooth, long finish with a stunning texture as well as richness. Consume it over the next 10-12 years.
