The 2015 Meursault Les Perrières 1er Cru has a very sophisticated, understated bouquet that is beautifully defined, with great focus and real mineralité flooding through with aeration. The succinct palate offers lip-smacking salinity, just the right amount of reduction and outstanding concentration toward the curry-leaf-tinged finish. A fabulous Les Perrières. Tasted blind at the annual Burgfest tasting.

Green apple, less sulphidic aromas than their Corbins Meursault. Tight, crisp acid, tangy yet full on the finish. Has the fatness of Meursault, though not the most diverse flavour range. (RH)
