Tasting notes
A beautiful, grand and finely structured wine that rises above the difficult 2022 vintage to show opulent fruit and spice with a balanced, powerful texture that will help it age and improve for decades. Seamless layers of oak, black cherries, dried blueberries, graphite, espresso and iron on a full body. Made from 64% cabernet sauvignon and 36% cabernet franc. Drinkable now but best from 2030.

A blend of 64% Cabernet Sauvignon and 36% Cabernet Franc, the 2022 Red Blend Proprietary Red Blend reveals a ruby/plum hue and an earthy, slightly baked nose of plum, currants, and blackberries. Full-bodied and rich on the palate, with lots of tannin, moderate acidity, and a meaty, powerful profile, this interesting effort needs 4-5 years of bottle age and should evolve for 15+ years.
